My husband and I have degrees in Agriculture. I graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1985, otherwise known as Texas State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education. Scott graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Production. The only reason I mention this is to let you know that, although we are far from being veterinarians, we have a passion for animals, their health, and animal husbandry (reproduction). Additionally, we both grew up being involved in 4-H and Future Farmers of America.
Our farm is located 15 miles northeast of Austin, Texas. When you visit you will be able to see our Black Angus cow and calf operation, Australian Cattle dogs, rabbits, pigs, and last but not least, our adorable teacup Yorkie puppies!
We have been a Yorkie breeder since 2003. Every minute of it has been exciting! All of our Yorkies are AKC registered. We take pride in the health and personality of our adults and especially our litters of puppies. They are all raised with lots of love and care from their first breath. Yorkies are great companions! Kaleigh showed her steer at the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo on Wednesday the 21st of March. She is in Cele 4-H Club. She did not place high enough to make the sale but it is not all about winning. She did very well showing her calf and we feel that is important as well as exhibiting good sportsmanship. This was her first year with cattle. She is 10 years old.
"Tickle" the dachshund joined us at the show.
